Updates to SolusVM 2 Plan Names

We are moved to announce updates to the naming of our plans in SolusVM 2! These changes are designed to provide greater clarity, modernize terminology, and better communicate the value of our offerings, all while ensuring a seamless experience for you.

Rest assured, there are no changes to pricing, plan configurations, or functionality – this is purely a naming update to align our product terminology with industry standards and improve communication about the services you receive.

What’s Changing?

Updated Plan Names:

  • SolusVM Enterprise License is now SolusVM Management Node w/ Virtualization

    • What It Does: Allows you to run a Management Node and host virtual machines (VMs) on the same server. Combine it with Compute Resource licenses to expand your cluster.

  • SolusVM Enterprise Slave Only is now SolusVM Management Node

    • What It Does: Lets you run a Management Node that connects exclusively to remote Compute Resource for enhanced scalability.

Updated Configurable Options:

  • Slaves is now Compute Resource – Unlimited

  • Mini Slaves is now Compute Resource – Mini

  • Micro Slaves is now Compute Resource – Micro

Updated Node Terminology:

  • Master is now Management Node

  • Slave is now Compute Resource
