First of all we would like to say a big thank you for your support and custom in 2012. It was a fairly hectic year for us but it’s not going to be a patch on 2013.
The first few releases of SolusVM this year are going to be major upgrades including a brand new client area that’s been built from scratch. Some of the features include an access level system allowing you to control what your clients do, whether allowing them access to all the functions or just the option to issue a reboot. Also included will be a new client API that incorporates ALL the functions that can be performed within the client area. This will allow you to build your own client apps with full functionality.
Another feature you will see is Centralized Backups. It’s been in the works for a while now and is in the final stages of internal testing. Centralized Backups will give you and your client full control and automation of when the backups are performed and restored.
Also on the priority list are two other features, Improved IPv6 functionality and automated migrations. As you may know the current IPv6 system is limited and needs to be improved drastically so IPv6 subnet assignment and IPv6 only commissioning will be included in these updates.
I would also like to take this opportunity to introduce two new developers, John & Adam who have just joined our team and will be working on the codebase and new iOS/Android applications.
Happy New Year Guys!
